The Azure Series Auras are crafted out of untreated low carbon steel and are heated to achieve their distinct blue color. These instruments are tonally bright and the material excels at bringing out crisp higher notes as well as full mid to low ranges. Although untreated steel is typically more susceptible to rust and corrosion, the Azure Series Auras are coated with a microceramic hydrophobic coating to help protect them from the elements.
